Despite there is not any Metallica track on this record, Metal For Muthas was one of the albums that inspired Lars Ulrich to be a musician, and to put up a band, instead of going ahead with his career as a tennis player. This album includes some very early songs of Iron Maiden and Angel Which, which were a great influence to Lars, along with other NWOBHM bands.
